Tracy LeMaire founded Evolve CPA Consulting, LLC in August 2021 as a result of her passion for helping companies navigate the inherent complex accounting issues in the growing and evolving cannabis industry. Tracy was a senior audit manager with a large regional CPA firm where she worked for the past 11 years. She primarily served cannabis clients for the past 6 years. She recognized the complex issues these companies face and the pain they were experiencing with managing rapid growth, a highly regulated industry that is constantly changing, high income taxes due to 280e, and the lack of both quality software systems designed for the industry and experienced cannabis accounting and finance talent and identified the opportunity to use her skills to help.

 

Tracy is always drawn to a challenge and loves helping her clients succeed. She has enjoyed learning the nuances of this fascinating industry and is also passionate about helping companies of all sizes including social equity applicants/owners. Tracy serves both large multi-state operators (MSOs) as well as start-ups in the cannabis industry. Though cannabis is her primary focus, she is also available to provide some of her technical accounting advisory services to companies in other industries.
